PRIVACY POLICY

D.Lgs. 196/2003 Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali - Regulations on protection of personal data.

T.I.R.E.S. s.r.l. (Via Vinicio Cortese, 38/40 00128 Rome) hereby informs visitors of the www.tires-srl.com website (from now on the "Website") of the policies that have been adopted in regard to the protection of personal data, highlighting its commitment and attention towards protection of the visitors’ privacy.

Website navigation is free and does not require any registration, with the exception of certain areas in which the user can freely and expressly provide a set of personal data in order to be granted access to specifically identified services. In case the visitor were to provide these personal data to access the additional services, in accordance with Article 13 of the "D. Lgs. 30 giugno 2003, n. 196, Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali", he will be informed on the purpose and mode of use of data on our part, as well as on the right to request the cancellation of data or their update at any moment.

Informations on protection of personal data

In accordance with the "Decreto Legislativo n.196/2003 Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali" (from now on the "Code"), we provide the following informations.

1. Data Controller and Data Processor

The Data Controller is T.I.R.E.S. s.r.l., headquartered in Rome, Via Vinicio Cortese, 38/40 (from now on "T.I.R.E.S. s.r.l.").

2. Types of treated personal data

In order to access the Website no registration is required. There are however specific service in the website that require provision of personal data in order to be accessed (e.g. your data could be requested to access services such as the Newsletter and sending of promotional or informative material, to register on the Site, to contact us, to request information, etc.).

If informations and personal data were to be acquired, the users will be promptly informed, in accordance with Article 13 in the Code, of the purposes of their collection and of their mode of use. Where necessary, the specific consent from the user will be collected. For instance, personal data that we might request are first name and last name, address, phone number, email and further informations that the user consents to provide in order to access the services on the Website by filling out a specific form. All obtained personal data will only be utilized with the purpose indicated upon registration.

Data concerning connection and navigation on the Website (such as addresses in URI- Uniform Resource Identifier- notation of requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, dimensions of the file obtained in response to the request, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server- successful, error- and further parameters concerning the user’s operating system and computing environment) are collected with the only purpose of gaining anonymous statistical data on the usage of the Website and monitoring its proper functioning and they are deleted immediately after having been processed. Data could be utilized to ascertain responsibility in the case of hypothetical computer crimes damaging the Website: following the exclusion of this possibility, data will be deleted at the end of the time required for the provision of services indicated on the Website.

3. Voluntary nature of data provision

Personal data provision is generally voluntary (for instance, to receive promotional or informative communications). Only in some circumstances failure to provide data might cause impossibility to access specific services and to obtain what requested.

The user is required to indicate on the Website his own personal data exclusively. In case data belonging to third parties were to be indicated, the user would declare and recognize of having obtained from the third parties the consent to the treatment of data by us or by any other data controller (as required in all the specifications disclosed upon collection of data).

4. Data processing methods and scope of disclosure

Data can be processed either in electronic or paper form. We guarantee the legit processing of personal data provided through use of the Website, in full compliance with the regulations in force, and we also guarantee confidentiality of the data provided upon registration.

All obtained informations are transmitted via protected connection in order to prevent interception by external parties. The Website security is guaranteed and certified by a company that is leader among the providers of services for security on the Internet.

Data will not be communicated or released to third parties, except in the limits and conditions expressly indicated in the specifications disclosed to the user each time and with preliminary authorization by the user himself.

5. Links to other sites

The specifications reported here are only valid for the website www.tires-srl.com, not for other websites browsed by the user through a link. The owner of the Website cannot be held responsible for the users’ personal data provided to external parties or to any websites linked to the Website.

6. Profiling tools

The owner of the website does not perform any activity of promotional or advertising communication without preliminary consent by the user.

The Website makes use of automated systems for collection of data, such as the "Cookies", flash cookies and browser cookies, namely devices sent from the Website server to the user’s browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and so on) and then stored in the hard disk of the user’s PC when he visits the Website.

Cookies allow the Website to identify the user’s PC, through stored information, any time the user accesses the Website with the same PC.

Through the use of cookies we can facilitate navigation on the Website.

Cookies do not contain any information directly identifying the user. Indeed, we cannot obtain any personal data (e.g., first name, last name) through cookies, except for the ones directly provided by the user.

  1. The name of the domain from which the Website server transmits these cookies is www.tires-srl.com, exclusively for the cookies released by that website. As concerns third-party cookies, see paragraph 6.3;
  2. Purpose of the collection: cookies are aimed at enabling an easier and safer navigation on the Website, improve the experience on the Website and the interaction with Social Networks (technical cookies);

Collected data: the following informations are stored: addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, dimensions of the obtained file, numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and further parameters concerning the user’s operating system and computing environment;
  4. Validity of the cookies: the Website makes use of both session cookies (which are automatically deleted upon closure of the browser), as well as persistent cookies (which are conserved up to the cancellation by the user), with maximum duration of six months;
  5. 7. Place of data processing and scope of communication of the data

The data processing related to the services offered by the Website takes place at T.I.R.E.S. s.r.l. headquarters, indicated in the first point. It is performed by the persons in charge of the processing at T.I.R.E.S. s.r.l..

Part of this processing will also be performed at the headquarters of an external supplier of T.I.R.E.S. s.r.l. in charge of activities related to the management and maintenance of the Website.

In this perspective, the data could also be momentarily transferred abroad, in compliance with articles 43 to 45 of the Code.

We kindly ask the users to carefully read the information contained in the sections of the Website dedicated to the registration or collection of personal data to access certain services: in these policy sections the subjects from which personal data can be acquired are specifically indicated, as well as any other eventual subject that will process the acquired personal data as autonomous data controller.

8. Rights of data subjects

You have the right to obtain information on the processing of your personal data, specifically 1) immediately obtaining a confirmation concerning the existence of personal data, 2) obtaining: a) information about the origin of personal data, as well as on the purposes and modalities of data processing, on the logic applied in case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic tools, on the identity of the owner or of the persons in charge, on the update or rectification or integration of data in case of interest; b) the deletion, transformation to anonymous form or blockage of data processed in violation of the law; 3) entirely or only partly opposing to the processing of his own personal data with the purpose of deriving commercial information, sending promotional material or direct sale, so with the aim of doing market research or commercial communication research.

9. Applicable law

This Privacy Policy is regulated by the Italian legislation, more precisely by the Code, which regulates the processing of personal data, also the ones treated abroad performed by a subject located in Italy or performed using tools located in Italy. The Code guarantees that the processing of all personal data will be performed in full observance of the fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as the dignity of the interested subject, with attention to confidentiality, personal identity and to the right to protection of personal data.

10. Review clause

We reserve the right to review, modify or simply update this Privacy Policy in its entirety or only partly at our own discretion, at any moment without notice and in any way, also in view of amendments to laws or regulations on the protection of personal data. Any change or update to the current Privacy Policy will be notified to users on the Homepage of the Website as soon as they are adopted, and will become binding once published in this same section of the Website.

We thus kindly ask you to regularly access this section to verify the publication of the most recent and updated version of this Privacy Policy.
